It's troubling to see how many students these days have totally zero school pride. They don't care about their school, they don't engage in events, and they just seem indifferent. It's like they've forgotten what it means to be part of a group and believe in their fellow students. This lack of enthusiasm is negative to the entire school environment.

Man, this cap just won't cooperate! I'm struggling to adjust it, but it still feels small. Maybe my head is a strange shape. I guess it goes to show you that sometimes fit just right.

My School Is Different

When I hear the words "alma mater|my old school|the place where I learned}", it doesn't evoke feelings of warmth and nostalgia. For me, it's a unfamiliar concept. Maybe because my experience there were so different, or perhaps I simply haven't had the time to look back. Whatever the reason, that phrase doesn't hold the same weight for me as it does for others.

It's not that I regret my time at school. It was a valuable chapter, just not one that feels familiar in the way many people describe.

Perhaps it's because I get more info made my passions outside the traditional school setting. Or maybe it's because my memories are centered around different experiences. Whatever the case, "Not My Alma Mater|My School Is Different|This Isn't My Old School", and that's perfectly okay.

The realm doesn't accept that I bleed a different color. They glare with disgust as I show the fact of my being. My life force is a representation of {somethingdifferent that they can't grasp. They label me as alien, but I am simply unique.

The Concept of School Spirit? Nah

Seriously, school/the whole idea of/that thing they call "school spirit/spirit week/pep rallies" is about as appealing/relevant/interesting to me as a moldy sandwich/root canal/trip to the dentist. I'd rather be practicing my guitar/reading a good book/taking a nap than wearing my school colors and screaming at some game I couldn't care less about. I value knowledge, not glorified cheering.

Here For All The Snacks

Let's be real, sometimes gathering/ chilling/hanging out with people/ friends/squad is all about the spread/ feast/ bounty! I mean, who can resist a good platter/ selection/ assortment of tasty treats/ goodies/ munchies? It's like a buffet/ an oasis/ the promised land of deliciousness/ yumminess/ pure snacking heaven. Give me cookies any day! I totally prioritize/live for/am here for those snacks/ goodies/ bites that make a gathering/ hangout/ party truly unforgettable.
